These Indian women seem quite Caucasian to me, which probably accounts for whatever feminity they display.

Your point has been made, I think. I don't see any point in continuing to post pics of Indians.

Wed, 03/26/2008 - 05:25 Emma Welcome!

Why can't all women just be accepted for who they are? You critisize the selection of masculine models in the fashion industry, yet you're also being selective of the so-called "glamour" models.
It's all a matter of opinion.

Thanks Ella, rihanna looks very feminine and cute somehow exotic with her golden skin tone I really like her.

Wed, 03/26/2008 - 03:42 Levi What are the requirements for becoming a top-ranked fashion model or supermodel?

I know a lot of women whom eat a lot but they are skinny like Edythe. I think she looks a little bit skinny but no problem with me I find skinny legs are prettier than fat legs with no curve of erik's model.

Lettuce soup with food coloring/zero-calorie creamer to make it look like a shake, which, along with an apple, will be her lunch. She is working on losing weight to get more modeling offers.

Wed, 03/26/2008 - 02:06 Erik Drugs that attenuate skin aging: proven therapies

Erin: Topical applications containing these products will advertise the ingredients prominently, and none of the drugs above are prescription drugs, i.e., you can get them over the counter. If you want me to recommend brand names that contain these drugs, then here are some problems for me:

Quote:

The bigger cosmetics companies will make you pay a premium to recoup the cost of advertising, and they will pack the topical application with materials that you don’t need to be paying for.

The cheap alternatives from Third World nations may not have quality controls and may contain dangerous materials (see the discussion on hydroquinone below).

There should be cheap good quality products available at a local pharmacy, but I won’t know what generic/brand names to recommend without doing some research, and this will take some spare time on my part.

Here is an illustration of risks. Hydroquinone is suited to white individuals, among whom it can be used to target spots on the face or hands, but because it suppresses pigmentation, many Africans, Latinos and Asians use it to lighten their skin, and they apply it all over, sometimes resulting in disastrous outcomes. Look at some outcomes in Africans using 2% hydroquinone (with you never know what else was packed into the cream):

Skin lightening cream-induced damage

Many cheap alternatives from Third World nations pack hydroquinone with corticosteroids. Corticosteroids counteract the skin itching side effect that may result from hydroquinone application, and dark individuals attempting to lighten their skin need this since they are applying hydroquinone all over and in excessive amounts. Corticosteroids are naturally produced in the body as hormones that are, among other things, especially used to combat stress in the long term. One of the effects of corticosteroids is mobilization of fat from adipose tissue and preferential deposition of fat into the abdominal region. Corticosteroids also have a mild suppressive effect on the immune response system. Look at this case study of a 28-year-old woman that had been using a skin lightening formulation containing corticosteroids for 7 years; she went to a physician with a complaint of weight gain and being unable to get pregnant in spite of menstruating regularly, and she denied taking any illegal or prescription drugs:

Quote:

Skin lightening cream-induced damage

The patient was diagnosed with Cushing’s syndrome, a disease characterized by excess cortisol production (cortisol is a corticosteroid). But the patient had very low levels of cortisol and a hormone that regulates cortisol production. This is when she admitted to using a skin lightening cream.

Druce, M., Goldstone, A. P., Tan, T. M., and Meeran, K., The pursuit of beauty, Lancet, 371, 596 (2008).

Using a hydroquinone plus corticosteroid system for a few weeks and for its intended use (to combat age-related spots) is highly unlikely to be harmful, but you get the point. Do some research before buying products to get good quality products for cheap and minimize negative effects. In some cases you can obtain raw products and build your own anti-aging beauty products, as described here for a copper zinc malonate preparation.

You mentioned a skin health site. There are many sites like that, and since this is the kind of topic they specialize in, the people behind these sites should be able to help you with brand names.

Hey erik:
I agree with what your say about models being pretty masculin looking. I mean, looking at the pages of Vicky S, i could never understand why they picked some of the girls they picked (i.e. Gisele Bundchen). But I was wondering where I fall on the shape scale. My measurements are 36-26-38, weighing in at 143 with a BMI of 23.1 . I have kind of broad shoulders but they aren't square, they are about 14in apart. My hip bones are only about 10 in apart. I am five-foot-six-and-a-half, got long legs. My rib cage isn't that big i don't think, never measured it, but I was wondering what you make of my shape? Oh yeah, I am also eighteen years old.

Tue, 03/25/2008 - 08:46 zonneschijn Estradiol and face shape in women

Audrey hepburn looked feminine and cute in anyway. I think the small boarded face is the reason she was looked younger than her real age. I find she looks like 14-16 years old girl on the first picture celina post. however I do not especially like her baby character that much I prefer Catherine De neuve, Elizabeth Montgomery, honour blackman, Kim Novack, Natalie Wood, Jean Harlow, Judy Garland, Ewa Aulin and Ingrid Bergman etc.

I find Audrey looks nice on this two pictures.

Erik : yes, I still learning english language. the challenge is to write it down what I have got in my head. nevertheless, I can read and translate english language as well.

Tue, 03/25/2008 - 04:29 Erik What form of women’s body shape was preferred in medieval Europe?

Zonneschijn: Why don’t you learn some English so that you are able to understand what the argument is about and leave a relevant comment?

Tue, 03/25/2008 - 04:13 z What form of women’s body shape was preferred in medieval Europe?

It looks classy but that's not reality. I prefer nouveau art woman or arther rackham's art , slender tall woman, cute, lovely and smart

here the nouveau and rackham women.

Mon, 03/24/2008 - 20:43 finding you hys... Nonheterosexual vs. heterosexual male preference for petite women: Alessandra Ambrosio vs. Camille

okay so you are ugly and trying to make everyone else think that the most stunning women on this planet are disgusting? you must also be the most dumbest person on earth, these women would not get paid thousands to pose if they were ugly. haha, you're actually hilarious. hahahaha

Mon, 03/24/2008 - 18:39 z Nonheterosexual vs. heterosexual male preference for petite women: Alessandra Ambrosio vs. Camille

Alessandra looks smarter, prettier than camile or Delta Goodrem. indeed I find every women look good on their own way but for me alessandra is prettier than camile. I think erik has to watch the movie "the rise of evil" (Hitler biography movie. u will find a lot of women that look the way you like to promote is Hitler ideal. the women for him is only use the body for satisfy his lust. something rare and beauty. I really don't mind u'd call me lifetime exclustive homosexual or what ever? u'd like to call but I don't think the real male in this world would insult the women the way you doing now. indeed, I find that alessandra's face is prominent. she has a living eyes and makes me think of spring or summer awhile the woman like camile is just pretty as a porcelain DOLL. NOT a kind of woman u wanted to share your life with. thanks coco chanel she was the first woman in the old world who released all women out of the lusty bound of the men. every guys in old time impressed in her cute, smart, small body, dark hair and cleaver awhile all chubby blonde women are jealously tried to follow chanel character, clothing and her hair style. and now I feel sad that some male'd like to bound the women back into old world again.

Mon, 03/24/2008 - 10:00 Epoche Melisande aka Guinevere

I don't know why some idiots here don't think she is not pretty, well actually your cheap comments don't matter much cause she is well on her way to be a very famous model and she has no problem finding work.I and a lot more people including successful photographers think she is pretty and we don't give a damn what a few pricks think. She is pretty as anything...
